Happy International Dance Day!:)

Happy International Dance Day!

I hope you dance:) I think dance is one of the greatest healers on this planet. I mean, when you really Dance. It doesn't mean repeating steps after somebody or being technically perfect. It means just to get out of your mind and become one with the music, with the rhythm. I am sure, that everybody can dance. We just forget about it being too shy and insecure of what "others may think". Here comes a big Secret. Nobody cares. Everybody lives in his own movie, in his own story. And sees everything according to his idea of the world, that has nothing to do with real thing in 99.9% of cases.

I remember when I was 5 years old, I could dance for hours, non-stop and didn't care at all if anybody was watching. Things got more complicated when I started to treat dancing too seriously. Being in dance teams or even just in a regular dance class - I was so afraid to make the wrong move, or forget the step, or disappoint the teacher. I forgot the reason why I was dancing, overwhelmed with over-analyzing and rationalizing, and in the end run stopped doing it at all. Pretty stupid, huh. It's total madness - to analyze things that are not supposed to be understood with the mind at all! And after quite something just popped up inside of me - Dancing is what makes me feel alive! It's my way of Knowing. My meditation. I just Love it. And that's it. Do I need any other reasons then?

After I changed my attitude - everything changed. What I thought I couldn't do - turned out that I could! When I stopped worrying too much about repeating the choreography - I just repeated it. And I felt so much joy again. Being One with Music, dancing for the love to dance.

Sometimes we become too serious or too busy, to dance. Please at least just for today give yourself 5 minutes, put on your favorite music and just dance it away!:) It is one of the best and most affordable doctors, you know. “I would only believe in a god who could dance. And when I saw my devil I found him serious, thorough, profound, and solemn: it was the spirit of gravity—through him all things fall. Not by wrath does one kill but by laughter. Come, let us kill the spirit of gravity!” Nietzsche

This is one of my favorite dance-story-choreo pieces ever. I think it's genious:

And this is a piece from "Pina" (great movie dedicated to amzaing choreographer, dancer Pina Bausch)

And yes, I couldn't write about Dancing without mentioning Michael:)

“Consciousness expresses itself through creation. This world we live in is the dance of the creator. Dancers come and go in the twinkling of an eye but the dance lives on. On many an occasion when I am dancing, I have felt touched by something sacred. In those moments, I felt my spirit soar and become one with everything that exists. I become the stars and the moon. I become the lover and the beloved. I become thevictor and the vanquished. I become the master and the slave. I become the singer and the song. I become the knower and the known. I keep on dancing then it is the eternal dance or creation. The creator and creation merge into one wholeness of joy. I keep on dancing...and dancing...and dancing. Until there is only...the dance.” MJ

Going on

So here we go.

Finally I've decided to start Doing Something. Again:) As "A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step".  No matter how many times we start over.

Dancing_the_Dream Project. The major intention behind - is to Uplift and Inspire (myself including:)). As I know how it feels being in the middle of nowhere:)

Besides, it's been a while since I have seen my family and friends because of my crazy movement across this crazy world. And there have been lots of great lessons to learn and to share. They might seem to be tough or weird sometimes but it's all for the Best. "Everything will be okay in the end. if it's not okay, it's not the end yet" ;)))

Sharing. That's exactly what this is all about. And I make a commitment to do it on a regular basis. Little by little. And if this brings a smile on your face - it's already worth doing it. "That's the time you must keep on trying. Smile, what's the use of crying. You'll find that life is still worthwhile. If you just smile".

Sharing my thoughts, sometimes very crazy and extreme, but whatever they are. Creative process. Dancing, Singing. People, books, quotes, events. My beautiful friends. All is welcome here.

Let's get it started.
